Councilman Paul Presinzano Backs Ruben Ramos and His Team to Move Hoboken Forward

HOBOKEN, NJ — Councilman Paul Presinzano announced today that he is endorsing Ruben Ramos for Mayor of Hoboken and his council team, saying Hoboken needs leadership that will focus on residents’ everyday quality of life.

“I spend my time walking our streets and talking to neighbors. People want the basics done right, like safer streets, clean parks, services that work, and a city that respects how hard families work to live here,” said Presinzano. “Ruben Ramos and his team share that vision. They know Hoboken doesn’t need more spin, it needs steady leadership that puts residents first.”

Ramos enthusiastically accepted his Council colleague's endorsement, saying: "It means so much to have the support of an independent voice like Councilman Paul Presinzano, and I'm so thankful for his support and partnership. Paul has worked alongside all four Council members running for Mayor, so the fact that he chose to support our campaign speaks volumes about which candidate is best equipped to lead Hoboken into the future."

Presinzano emphasized that Ramos’s team was not randomly chosen, but carefully built to represent the whole city. “There was a long, thoughtful process to find the right slate. Al Veloce, Britta Ouano, and Laura Miani raise the bar and will help shape the future of Hoboken. This is a team that reflects our community and is ready to deliver results.”

Presinzano said the choice in this election is clear. “It’s time for a mayor who listens, a council that delivers, and a city where families can live here, thrive here, and be proud to say I live in Hoboken. Ruben and his team are ready to move us forward — and I’m proud to stand with them.”
