Port Authority PBA Endorses Passaic County Commissioner John Bartlett for Congress in Democratic Primary for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District

WAYNE, NJ – County Commissioner John Bartlett today announced the endorsement of his campaign for Congress by the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association, Inc. (PAPBA), one of the region’s most respected law enforcement unions representing the men and women who protect critical transportation infrastructure across New York and New Jersey.

In announcing the union’s endorsement in the Democratic primary, PAPBA President Frank Conti praised Bartlett’s long-standing record of public service over self service, grounded in leadership, integrity, and a commitment to public safety.

“John’s proven commitment to community, public safety, and essential infrastructure projects has earned our endorsement,” said Frank Conti, President of the Port Authority PBA, Inc. “We know John as a trusted advisor with the highest ethical standards, and we know he has so much more to contribute to our state and our nation. We wish him the greatest success in his campaign.”

Commissioner Bartlett expressed gratitude for the endorsement and emphasized the importance of supporting the officers who keep the region’s transportation network safe.

“I’m honored to have the support of the Port Authority PBA, whose members showed the world an example of selfless service on 9/11, and continue to play an essential role in protecting the millions of Americans who rely on our airports, ports, bridges, and transit systems every day,” Bartlett said. “I look forward to continuing to work with them to safeguard our region and ensure the federal government is a reliable partner in building a stronger, more connected New Jersey.”

The Special Primary Election for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District is scheduled for February 5th, 2026.
