TESTA’S NEW AD TURNS UP THE HEAT ON NEW JERSEY DEMOCRATS FOR SKY-HIGH ELECTRIC RATES

Vineland, NJ — New Jersey State Senator Michael Testa is turning up the voltage in his latest campaign ad, a playful but pointed spot inspired by the classic character Jessica Rabbit. The ad, titled “Flip the Switch,” uses humor and heat to highlight a serious issue: under Democrat leadership, New Jersey families are paying some of the highest electric rates in the nation.

In the ad, a sultry voiceover teases:

“You know what turns me on? A man who takes control… especially of this.”
“These prices climb higher every month… and they’re leaving everyone hot under the collar.”
“If you’ve been left out in the cold by New Jersey Democrats, maybe it’s time to flip the switch.”

“New Jersey families felt the heat this summer, and they’re going to be left in the cold this winter,” said Senator Testa. “Under Democrat control, electric rates have become unaffordable, and working people are the ones paying the price. It’s time to turn the lights back on for affordability and accountability by voting Republican.”

The ad’s tongue-in-cheek tone is a nod to the pop culture allure of Jessica Rabbit, but its message is dead serious. New Jersey residents are being squeezed by skyrocketing energy costs, a direct result of Democrat policies that prioritize special interests over working families.

“People are fed up,” Testa added. “They deserve leaders who will take control and deliver relief, not more excuses. Republicans are ready to flip the switch and get New Jersey back on track.”

The 30-second spot is launching this week across New Jersey on digital platforms.
