West Windsor Council members Andrea Mandel and Sonia Gawas enthusiastically endorse the Re-election of Mayor Hemant Marathe and Councilwoman Linda Geevers and the election of Council Candidate Joe Charles.

Having served with Mayor Marathe and Councilwoman Geevers for the last 6 years, we know firsthand their dedication to the people of West Windsor. Whether getting us through the Covid crisis, assuring the safety of our residents, preparing to meet the challenges of state mandated affordable housing requirements, providing for safe streets and roads, promoting our businesses, controlling our municipal taxes or protecting our environment, they work hard every day to make it happen.

We worked with Joe Charles last year on the “Vote NO” campaign to keep our elections nonpartisan. His dedication and organizational capabilities were instrumental in the resounding 2 to 1 defeat of the attempt to drag West Windsor into the mire of partisan politics.

With all their accomplishments, it is their personal qualities as leaders that we find even more admirable. They are caring, responsive and available to all residents.

We don’t always agree with them, or even with each other. That’s OK. We enjoy open discussions, where we all recognize that the only factor in any decision is what is best for the residents of West Windsor.
