AC Democrats Challenge Ballot Question that Would Change City Government

Atlantic City Hall

The Atlantic City Democratic Committee today filed a challenge to the March 31st ballot question, which would change the form of government from mayor-council to manager-council.

According to their challenge, Democrats argue that the petition originally filed by Atlantic City Residents For Good Government is defective and the wording proposed for the ballot question unclear.

The local Democratic Committee filed its challenge in the office of Judge Julio Mendez in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
