In AC, Suleiman Looks Ahead to Next ‘Public Service’ Chapter

Michael Suleiman, chair of the Atlantic County Democratic Committee, today announced his acceptance of a new government gig. He will continue as county chairman, he told InsiderNJ.
“Happy to announce that I’ll be joining the South Jersey Transportation Authority as manager of government affairs,” he said on Facebook. “Many thanks to the SJTA Board and the Murphy Administration for their confidence in me. Looking forward to my next chapter of public service.
“I’ll still be chair,” he said. “Work is separate and not associated with my party duties.”
Two sources told InsiderNJ that Suleiman is likely to serve until the end of his term in June. Then there will be a changing of the guard.
