AFSCME New Jersey Releases List of Endorsed Candidates for 2020 Election

AFSCME NJ today released their list of endorsed candidates for the November 2020 election.

The first wave of endorsements from the labor union comes a week before New Jersey’s primary election on July 7th, 2020.

AFSCME New Jersey, Council 63 is proud to endorse for office:

·      Cory Booker – United States Senate

·      Josh Gottheimer – House of Representatives (5th District)

·      Frank Pallone – House of Representatives (6th District)

·      Albio Sires – House of Representatives (8th District)

·      Bill Pascrell – House of Representatives (9th District)

·      Donald Payne – House of Representatives (10th District)

·      Bonnie Watson Coleman – House of Representatives (12th District)

“The candidates endorsed by AFSCME New Jersey have a proven track record of advocating for public employees and the services that AFSCME members provide to the people of New Jersey,” said Steven Tully, Executive Director for AFSCME New Jersey, Council 63. “Each candidate for Congress has voted in favor of the HEROES Act, demonstrating their commitment to protect the public services that all New Jerseyans rely on. These candidates have stood with AFSCME New Jersey members and we are proud to stand with them.”
