A citywide mailer surfaced in recent days in Newark slapping away at radio show host Eric Dawson, a frequent critic of Mayor Ras Baraka.

Baraka’s allies insist they have nothing to do with the piece, which does not identify the Baraka Campaign as the originator. But the piece does strongly herald Baraka and his accomplishments a year ahead of his reelection.
