TRENTON – The members of both caucuses began ambling in to the chamber moments ago, human figures showing signs of movement unreinforced by the continuing expectation of a government halt.

Soon they would vote again on the budget.

Speaker Vincent Prieto said he hopes to have 41 votes to pass the budget; Governor Chris Christie told reporters earlier that he doesn’t have the votes.
