Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-36) released the following statement today regarding the mass shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh Saturday morning:

“It is impossible to put my sorrow and that of our community into words.  Our prayers are with the innocent families affected, and with the families of our valiant police. We pray this country will be united in its determination to categorically reject all forms of racism and anti-Semitism, and these acts of senseless, hateful violence will forever end.”
