A group of Korean Elected Officials from Bergen County issued the following statement in support of Assemblyman Gordon M. Johnson for State Senate:

“We are proud of our diversity in Bergen County and we are excited to have the opportunity to send a person who represents and understands our values and ideals to the State Senate. This is a great day for our community. Assemblyman Johnson has been a steadfast figure in our community; enjoying our foods, sharing our stories, learning our language and immersing himself in our culture.  He has worked tirelessly to protect and fight for our rights in the Assembly and we look forward to his continued efforts in the Senate.

“For 20 years, Johnson has successfully led efforts to bring greater accountability and transparency to policing, expand the rights of those in the LGBTQ community, protect our seniors and take care of our veterans. Johnson has continually worked with and worked for all members of our community, no matter their ideology, orientation, creed or color and we are certain he will bring that same approach to the State Senate.

“As elected officials who represent a vast body of constituents in Bergen County we proudly endorse Assemblyman Johnson’s for State Senate in District 37.”
