Bloomfield FMBA Locals 19 and 219, representing the professional firefighters of the Township of Bloomfield, have announced their strong endorsement of Mayor Jenny Mundell in her bid for re-election as well as for her running mates, First Ward Councilwoman Rosalee Gonzalez, Councilwoman at-Large Monica CharrisTabares, Councilman at-Large Widney Polynice, and at-Large Council Candidate Jill Fischman.

In a letter to Mayor Mundell, FMBA 19 President Michael Searlsstated, "As the proud representatives of Bloomfield’s firefighters, FMBA Locals 19 and 219 are honored to endorse you, Mayor Jenny Mundell, and your team in your continued leadership of our town." The endorsement highlights Mayor Mundell's consistent demonstration that "the safety and well-being of Bloomfield’s residents is not just a talking point—it’s a priority."

The unions expressed their confidence that under Mayor Mundell's leadership, Bloomfield's first responders "feel supported, respected, and equipped to do the critical work of protecting our community and know Mundell will ensure the safety of Bloomfield citizens will always be a top priority in our township." The letter specifically cited investments in public safety resources, improvements in infrastructure, and Mayor Mundell's visible support for the men and women on the front lines as key reasons for the endorsement.
