Booker Taps Lynch as D.C.-based Press Secretary

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) today announced that Kristin Lynch will join his office as Press Secretary, effective today. Lynch, who will be based in Booker’s Washington, DC, office, joins Communications Director Jeff Giertz and New Jersey Press Secretary Tom Pietrykoski on the press team.

“We’re excited to have Kristin come on board,” Booker said. “Her skills, experience, and passion for public service make her a tremendous addition to our team. I look forward to working with her to help New Jerseyans every day.”

A graduate of Princeton University, Lynch most recently worked as Colorado Communications Director for Hillary for America. Lynch has also served as Rep. Jared Polis’ (D-CO) communications director, press secretary on Sen. Mark Udall’s (D-CO) re-election campaign, and state press secretary to Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO).  Lynch began her career as a reporter with the Phnom Penh Post in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
