Bramnick Hits His Hometown Train Station

Rain - and a lot of it - collapsed on the Garden State this morning, where state Senator Jon Bramnick sought to seal the deal with voters in his hometown of Westfield.

"I'm telling them the same thing I've been saying all along," Bramnick told InsiderNJ.

"I'm telling voters that traditional Republican values win," said the critic of President Donald J. Trump.

"This is a temporary blip in the Republican Party," he added. "If you want to go sideways, it's going to be a problem in the general and it's going to a problem long-term."

Trump's endorsement of Bramnick rival Jack Ciattarelli helped catapult the former Assemblyman to the status of GOP Primary frontrunner.

But Bramnick maintains that even if he does not win today, his campaign will ultimately prove the value and staying power of a Republican Party in his home state defined by former Governor Tom Kean, Sr.
