TRENTON – Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick (R-21) said he is prepared to override Governor Phil Murphy.

“Because his tax policy is extreme and hurts New Jersey,” said the GOP Leader.

Bramnick said he would begin discussions with Democratic leaders for options.

“Both Democratic plans not good for Jersey but Governor Murphy’s plan  is worse,” he added, noting too that he would negotiate spending cuts.

“Closing government because you are fighting over higher taxes is insanity,” he told InsiderNJ. “Next year vote Republican, my friends, and end this nightmare of higher taxes.”
