Embattled Paterson Mayor Jose “Joey’ Torres will be charged with corruption as soon as today, according to a News 4 special report.

From the report: “Paterson Mayor Joey Torres and three employees of the city’s public works department are expected to be hit with state corruption-related charges as soon as Tuesday, according to City Hall sources who have spoken with the politician and his associates.”

A subsequent published NorthJersey.com report says law enforcement authorities plan a 4 p.m. press conference.
