Burlington County to Reopen County Parks with Restrictions on May 2

“On May 2, Burlington County will re-open parks with certain restrictions in the interest of preventing the further spread of coronavirus disease,” said Dr. Conaway, Chair of the Burlington County Coronavirus Task Force.  “Residents utilizing our parks for passive recreation will be required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing rules.  Park rangers are authorized to enforce rules to ensure public safety.  Park facilities, such as bathrooms, playgrounds and pavilions will remain closed.  Though organized group activities are barred, walking trails and paths will again be open to the public.  In accordance with State guidelines, access to parking will be reduced by half.  Please don’t throw caution to the wind as our path to a new normal will be marked by illness and death for some.  Let’s continue to work together to limit the shared tragic effects of COVID19.”
