Promoted from within, Christian Callegari has taken the chief of staff position in the office of veteran Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-36).

Grandson of the founder of the Peruvian parade in Paterson, Callegari met Schaer when he worked on the campaign of Passaic Mayor Hector Lora.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Felician College and a Master’s in international affairs from Rutgers University.
