CD-12 Flashpoint: Sue Altman Outside Delaney Hall: 'This is Not What We Should be as Americans'
NEWARK - On Memorial Day, CD-12 candidate Sue Altman raised her voice with other New Jerseyans protesting the containment of individuals at Delaney Hall.
"This is not who we are or should be as Americans," Altman told InsiderNJ.
The candidate for Congress appeared here in support of the 300 detainees who are on a work and hunger strike, backed by activists and their family members gathered with Altman at the front gate.
