‘Characters’ Hale and Harrison Tweet Tag Team on Angry and Irritated Christie

Governor Chris Christie found himself tangoing with two political science professors after he slapped at them in a remark to reporters yesterday at Englewood Cliffs.

“The Matthew Hales, the Brigid Harrisons, those characters who, you know, sit in their office and wait for you guys panting to call them so they can give some opinion about something they’ve never done in their lives,” said the governor, at an event where he announced new state unemployment figures.

Hale of Seton Hall struck back in a tweet: “Hey @ChrisChristie come to @SetonHallMPA & we can discuss my qualifications. Always happy to teach.”

So did Harrison of Montclair State University: “Hey @GovChristie: before trash talking to the media about me, maybe do your homework?”
