Ciattarelli Doubles Down on His School Funding Plan

NEWARK – Ciattarelli says Guadagno’s not willing to go the distance with a school funding formula he has prioritized as part of his five-point plan.

Guadagno agrees with Ciattarelli that Jersey City and Hoboken are over-funded

But “My school funding plan is in the budget,” (when he gets elected governor), Ciattarelli argues.

“I have not heard that [in Guadagno’s rhetoric],” he adds.

Guadagno says Ciattarelli would raise taxes by $600 million.

“My tax re-structuring plan doesn’t raise taxes on anyone,” the assemblyman slaps back.
