Coalition for Progress PAC Raises $150K for Dems in CD7 and CD11

The political action committee associated with Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop and friends tonight raised $150,000 at Liberty House for Democratic candidates in congressional districts 7 and 11.

The so-called Coalition for Progress joined Fulop, Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla, Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty, Woodland Park Mayor Keith Kazmark, Plainfield Mayor Adrian Mapp, Assemblyman Raj Mukherji (D-33), and Parsippany Mayor Mike Soriano for “cocktails and conversation” and to haul dollars for Democrats challenging in those two key congressional battlegrounds.

At the moment, former Navy helicopter pilot Mikie Sherrill is the favorite to land the Democratic nomination in CD11, and former assistant Secretary of State Tom Malinowski is favored to land the CD7 Democratic nomination.
