assemblyman. “Brittany has done a terrific job in this role assisting me in representing the interests of the residents of the 40th Legislative District. Effective next Wednesday, February 12, Brittany will be joining the gubernatorial campaign of Jack Ciattarelli. I know Brittany will do a great job for Jack, and she will be missed by me and my constituents.

“I am happy to announce that my new Chief of Staff will be Ray Cottiers,” the assemblyman added. “I am confident that Ray will serve my constituents in the 40th Legislative District with the same commitment as Brittany did.”

Cottiers has 10 years of experience as a teacher, is a member of the Republican County Committee in New Milford, and ran an effective race as candidate for Bergen County Freeholder in 2017. He has also served on several government and non-profit boards and will bring that experience to this new role.

“I know that Ray’s strong interpersonal, leadership, and social media/communications skills will serve the residents of the 40th District well,” DePhillips said. “Welcome Ray!”
