Following the release of audio of Trenton Councilwoman Robin Vaughn directing homophobic remarks against Mayor Reed Gusciora, NJDSC Chairman John Currie is calling on the Councilwoman to resign immediately. Chairman Currie has released the following statement:

 “Councilwoman Vaughn’s homophobic attack on Mayor Gusciora is reprehensible and this kind of conduct does not reflect the values of our Democrtatic Party and our state. For the good of the community she represents, Councilwoman Vaughn should immediately step down and apologize for her comments so that the City of Trenton can begin to heal and move on from this unfortunate and embarrassing episode.”
