Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker and his Democratic running mate Roy Freiman defeated Republicans Donna Simon and Mark Caliguire in the closely watched LD16.

Incumbent State Senator Kip Bateman, a Republican, won at the top of the ticket.

Republicans Brian Levine and running mate Gallagher won two freeholder seats in Somerset.

As of this writing, the Somerset clerk’s race was too close to call.
