DNC Chairman Tom Perez and Vice-Chairman Keith Ellison head to Monmouth
The Monmouth County Democrats, joined by State Chairman John Currie, Assemblymembers Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey, and State Senate Candidate Vin Gopal will welcome Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez and Vice-Chairman Keith Ellison to the battleground 11th Legislative District this Friday, March 31st 2:00pm at Porta: 911 Kingsley St, Asbury Park, NJ 07712.
The event will be a rally and voter registration followed by a phone bank to contact voters.
DNC Chairman Tom Perez is the former U.S. Secretary of Labor. Vice-Chair Keith Ellison is a Congressman from Minnesota. Chairman Perez was elected as the Democratic National Committee Chairman this past February.
Editor’s Note: According to an updated press advisory on Wednesday afternoon, the location of this event has changed to Asbury Park VFW: 701 Lake Ave, Asbury Park “due to overwhelming RSVPs,” according to the DNC.
