Julia Fahl has defeated incumbent Mayor Dave DelVecchio 55-45% in the Democratic Primary in Lambertville.

Fahl defeated DelVecchio in every district of the Delaware River town.

1378 people voted in the local contest, compared to 1373 in the gubernatorial primary last year.

“We put together a campaign of talking to every individual, and we built this campaign from the ground up,” the victor told InsiderNJ.

Fahl said she looks forward to talking to DelVecchio this evening, and then getting to work to elect Democrats in the November general election.
