Former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff has endorsed Jon Bramnick for Governor. Chertoff, a New Jersey native cited Bramnick’s experience and ability to bring people together.

“I know Jon is personally committed to making sure first and foremost that we are all safe and secure and that communities can flourish without fear or dealing with adversity,” said Chertoff. “And I know that Jon will do everything he can to promote and increase the prosperity of citizens all over the state. So I strongly urge voters to support Jon Bramnick.”

Michael Chertoff was appointed as the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey by George H.W. Bush. He was appointed by George W. Bush to head the criminal division of the Department of Justice where he led the case against suspected terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui. From 2005 to 2009, Chertoff served as U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security.

  1. Chertoff has had the moniker of being called a “Nazi” hung around his neck. Why is that? He is also the one that started the company that makes the walk-through metal detectors in airports. He’s a big 9-11 proponent of limiting constitutional rights and supported the unconstitutional PATRIOT ACT that came after 9-11.

    If Chertoff is endorsing a RINO like Bramnick, you can be damn sure it’s not good! Let’s also remember that Bramnick is a New Jersey attorney that goes along to get along. He’s part of the establishment. Don’t trust Bramnick as far as you can throw him!!!!
