Steve Fulop, the mayor of Jersey City, thanked voters this morning prior to showing up at his local polling place with his family.

"This campaign has been built from the ground up, fueled by people like you who believe that New Jersey deserves better than the same old political machine," said the mayor in an email to supporters. "Whether you knocked doors, made calls, chipped in a few dollars, or simply talked to a friend about our race, I’m deeply grateful.

"Now, it’s time to finish strong," he added. "Let’s show New Jersey what real grassroots power looks like, and bring home this win, together."
