Goldberg Wants to Run for U.S. Senate

BRANCHBURG – Brian J. Goldberg told InsiderNJ this morning at Fox Hollow that he plans to run for U.S. Senate if the GOP makes what he describes as the mistake of trying to line up behind Celgene executive Bob Hugin.

“If they go with Hugin, I’ll run,” said Goldberg.

His twitter account identifies him as being in the exploratory phase for a run.

The West Orange businessman ran unsuccessfully for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate in 2014, and subsequently started The Empowerment PAC.

  1. Brian, with all due respect, if your not committed now and haven’t been working the ground already, it’s already too late.

  2. Goldberg raised $3112 TOTAL in 2014 despite being the “establishment favorite”… will get laughed out of every county convention if he jumps in
