Hudson County Executive Chief of Staff Tests Positive for COVID-19

Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise is announcing that he is quarantining after a possible exposure to COVID-19. The County Executive received a rapid COVID-19 test yesterday and tested negative, and he is currently awaiting additional test results.

DeGise’s Chief of Staff Craig Guy learned yesterday that he had tested positive after beginning to show minor symptoms on December 11 and undergoing PCR testing.

Guy is currently isolated and is continuing to work remotely, and the rest of the County Executive’s staff is also undergoing testing, quarantining and working remotely until further notice. The County Executive is in good spirits and he and his staff are following all public health guidelines and protocols.
