Celgene executive Bob Hugin just sent out an email to Republican leaders with an attached invite to his home on Monday night for a “gathering.”

Hugin is expected to get in the race this year to challenge U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), and insiders interpreted the invite as his tee-up to the campaign.

A source also told InsiderNJ earlier today that Somerset Republicans anticipate an appearance by the fledgling candidate at their Lincoln Day Dinner tonight.
