Hunterdon County released an updated list of COVID-19 cases by town as of Monday, April 6th. According to the county, there are 236 cases total, and the age range is from 2 years old to 93 years old. There have been 3 fatalities total as of Monday.

Of the total 236 cases, the Township of Raritan has the highest case count of any municipality, with 45 cases as of Saturday; Stockton remains the only town with 0 cases.

*On 4/3/2020, 4/4/2020, and 4/6/2020 the Health Department received reports of COVID-19
deaths in Hunterdon County residents. All three individuals are over the age of 70 with underlying
health conditions. For the protection of the privacy the family, no additional information will be
released at this time.

The Hunterdon County Health Department is providing case count numbers by municipality and cannot release any additional personal information to protect case identity and privacy. Calls to the Department seeking information that cannot be provided takes health professionals away from their vital public health and COVID response duties.

The County Health Department performs contact tracing for each positive COVID-19 case. If you have had close contact with an individual who has tested positive, you will be contacted by public health officials.

The NJDOH reports that as of Tuesday, April 7th, there are 44,416 COVID-19 cases statewide and 1,232 fatalities.  That’s an increase of 3,361 cases and 232 deaths since Monday.
