“The Atlantic City Democratic Committee just voted 27-3 to ask Atlantic City Mayor Frank M. Gilliam Jr. and Councilman Jeffree Fauntleroy II to step down from their elected positions.

“Specifically, they are being asked to step down until final disposition of their violent criminal allegations is adjudicated.

“If they refuse to step down, the resolution calls for New Jersey Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver to take action.”
