Immigrant Rights Advocate Prods Coughlin on Driver’s Licences
ATLANTIC CITY – Not everyone added her hands to the thunderous applause receiving Speaker Craig
Coughlin’s breakfast speech this morning.
Seated in the audience at one of the tables amid silverware clatter, immigrants rights champion Patricia Campos Medina tweeted a negative response to the speaker.
Coughlin noted his caucus’s dedication to the poor.
“Help the vulnerable?” Campos Medina tweeted in apparent disbelief.
“We cannot just criticize Trump’s treatment of immigrants,” she wrote. “Speaker Coughlin, you have to do something about it. We neeed action on Driver’s Licenses now.”
