Kennedy Splits with Murphy on One Critical Issue
One famous New Jersey Democrat parts company with party front-runner Phil Murphy on the issue of marijuana legalization.
Patrick Kennedy, the former U.S. Congressman from Rhode Island who now resides in Brigantine, vocally opposes the legalization of marijuana.
“I’m going to have to have a talk with Phil,” a source overhead a vexed Kennedy say at a recent party function.
Murphy supports state Senator Nick Scutari’s (D-22) effort to legalize pot.
