Kim Receives Endorsement from MoveOn

Today, Congressman Andy Kim announced the endorsement from MoveOn, one of the largest grassroots mobilization organizations in the country. With members in all 50 states, MoveOn members work together on rapid-response organizing and campaigning, communications interventions, digital innovation, rigorous data science and testing, all the while uplifting a culture of grassroots participation that has repeatedly produced real-world impact. MoveOn has been building progressive power through advocacy and elections and has been on the front lines of resistance to Trump and the GOP’s toxic agenda.

“I am honored to have been endorsed by MoveOn, an organization that has been pivotal in furthering progressive ideals and taking on Trump by mobilizing voters and building a movement of grassroots activists across the country,” said Kim. “They will be instrumental partners in bringing our statewide grassroots energy to a whole new level and I look forward to working with them to knock on doors, make phone calls, and make sure everyone gets out the vote for June 4th.”

“We need all hands on deck to ensure that our representation in Congress continues to champion working people,” said Rahna Epting, MoveOn executive director, in a statement shared first with Axios.

First elected to Congress in 2018 at the age of 36, three-term Congressman Andy Kim is one of the younger members to serve in Congress and is the first Asian American elected to federal office from New Jersey. In 2018 and 2020, Andy defeated two self-funding millionaires in a district carried by former President Trump, going on to vote to impeach Trump twice throughout his presidency. In 2022, Kim defeated his third self-funding millionaire opponent by 12 points.
