The Laborers Back Lance in CD-7

The Laborers’ International Union of North America — LiUNA — today endorsed Leonard Lance for Congress.  One of the largest and most diverse unions, LiUNA represents more than 25,000 laborers in New Jersey.

“A true bipartisan voice in Washington, Lance is a proponent of good public policy, not partisan politics. His defense of important issues — whether protecting the core of affordable healthcare, fighting for critical infrastructure investment, or protecting Davis-Bacon federal wage requirements — sometimes puts him at odds with his party but in line with the issues that matter to LiUNA members in the Garden State and across the country.”

The politically-active trade union said Lance’s opponent Tom Malinowski, “… has had questions raised about his permanent residency and would generally bring more partisan divisions to Washington if elected.”

“Our choice is clear, and we choose Leonard Lance,” LiUNA concluded.
