LD38 Flashpoint: Ortiz Berger to Run Against Lagana
38th District Republicans tonight selected:
Daisy Ortiz Berger (a former candidate for Bergen freeholder) for senate;
Gail Horton of Paramus;
Jayme Ouellette, a former Rochelle Park Mayor.
The three Republican women will run in a special election this year against state Senator Joe Lagana and his running mates Lisa Swain and Chris Tully.
Lagana moved up this year when state Senator Bob Gordon retired.
Swain and Tully supplanted Lagana and retired Assemblyman Tim Eustace in the Assembly.
