TRENTON – Veteran state Senator Ray Lesniak (D-20) will not vote in favor of S-4, the controversial Horizon restructuring bill championed by Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3).

“No,” Lesniak, serving on the Senate Judiciary Committee this afternoon in his last budget season before retirement, told InsiderNJ when asked if he intends to back the bill.

A source close to the negotiating process said he originally expected Lesniak to be an “aye” vote on the bill.
