Mahr Issues First List of Democratic Supporters in Union County
In a fight for the Union County Democratic Committee chairmanship, Acting Chair (and Fanwood Mayor) Colleen Mahr this afternoon issued her first official round of backers.
They issued a joint statement in addition to a listing (which) follows.
“Colleen Mahr, the Mayor of Fanwood for over 14 years, our County’s Vice Chair for the past five and now our acting Chair of the Union County Democratic Committee is my choice for County Democratic Chair. Colleen has been working non-stop for her constituents and that energy is what we need, and what she will bring to our party. Colleen has stood shoulder to shoulder with us and as a Mayor understands the needs at the local level. Most importantly, Colleen understands what it takes for Democrats to win in each and every municipality in Union County because she has already over the years rolled up her sleeves to campaign for many of us. Colleen Mahr has our unwavering support in the coming election and we have already begun organizing to fight for that outcome.”
