Menendez helps Akhter Raise $30K in Passaic
Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) last night helped Passaic County Freeholder Assad Akhter raise about $30k for the incumbent’s reelection this year.
Akhter’s running with Freeholder Director Sandi Lazzara, Freeholder John Bartlett and County Clerk candidate Danielle Ireland-Imhoff.
In addition to Menendez, attendees at Akhter’s Hawthorne fundraiser included Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie, Vice Chair Barbara Tanis, Senator Nellie Pou, Mayor-Elect Andre Sayegh, and Councilwoman-Elect Lilisa Mimms.
