Millburn Mayor Maggee Miggins Re-Elected

Millburn Committeewoman Maggee Miggins was re-elected Mayor last night at a re-organization meeting at the municipal Town Hall. Committeeman Sanjeev Vinayak was elected Deputy Mayor.

The Township government’s re-organization followed a swearing-in ceremony for newly elected Committee members Annette Romano and Michael Cohen. The two newly elected Democrats were sworn in for three-year terms.

Essex County Clerk Chris Durkin, who administered the oaths of office, also read aloud the election certifications along with Essex County Commissioner Len Luciano.

Congresswoman Mikie Sherill offered congratulatory remarks by official correspondence read aloud to the assemblage.

On hand for the ceremony were State and Essex County Democratic Chairman LeRoy Jones, former Governor/ State Senator Richard Codey, Assemblymen John McKeon and Tom Giblin along with neighboring officials from Livingston, Essex County Commissioner Patricia Sebold and Council members Shawn Klein and Al Anthony.
