Moench Wins Local Party Endorsement For Mayor of Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER – Bridgewater Council President Matthew C. Moench released the following statement after receiving the support of the Bridgewater Republican Municipal Committee for the 2019 primary election for mayor this evening at the BRMC’s candidate screening meeting:

“I am humbled and honored to have received the Bridgewater Republican Municipal Committee’s endorsement for mayor. The support of our local committee is the only endorsement that has ever mattered to me, and it is with great pride that I will carry the BRMC banner into the primary election on June 4th. This is a first step in a long journey, and in the days to come, our campaign will have more to say about our vision for the future of this town. The members of the BRMC chose to stand with me tonight, and I promise that I will always stand with them, and all of our residents, to keep Bridgewater a town we can be proud of.”

Moench wants to unseat incumbent Bridgewater Mayor Dan Hayes, a fellow Republican, who’s running for reelection.
