Yes, that’s actually Building Trades Prez Bill Mullen within arm’s reach of Governor Phil Murphy.
The pair appeared together this morning when Murphy convened a meeting in Trenton with the State Building Trades Council.
Others in attendance included Labor Commissioner Rob Asaro-Angelo, sitting to the governor’s left.
The governor and the Building Trades haven’t always been cozy.
Mullen was irritated by the New Jersey Education Association’s failed take-down of his friend and labor brother Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3) and subsequently openly criticized Murphy.
But the two leaders were apparently on speaking terms, or at least close-proximity terms, as of this morning.
