Governor Phil Murphy is releasing the following statement following resounding election wins for New Jersey Democrats in this year’s legislative elections: 

“Yesterday’s huge victories were a validation of the work Senate President Scutari, Speaker Coughlin, and I have accomplished over these past two years. We have always come together in a spirit of partnership to do what is best for all nine million New Jerseyans. 

“I wholeheartedly endorse them for another term in leadership, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside them as we do the hard work necessary to strengthen our economy, make our state more affordable, and improve the lives of working families in New Jersey.”
