Murphy on NJ Congressional Seats: ‘We Want ’em All’
ATLANTIC CITY – An impassioned Governor Phil Murphy faced a big crowd of Democrats here at Harrah’s and went all out at the microphone.
“Everyone is welcome in the New Jersey Democratic Party,” Murphy yelled. “Period, full stop. …The elections on Nov. 6th are a pass fail test in so many respects. We’ve got to get Bob Menendez reelected. We’ve got to get all seven Democratic Congressmen reelected.
“We want ’em all,” Murphy yelled, referring to all the congressional seats in play this year.
“I feel like Don Rickles opening for Frank Sinatra,” the Governor cracked, as he built up to U.S. Senator Cory Booker.
