Murphy Rolls out a Couple of Key Mercer Allies

 

Today, Ewing Mayor Bert Steinmann and Lawrence Mayor Patricia Farmer endorsed Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate. Steinmann and Farmer joined Trenton Mayor Reed Gusciora who endorsed Murphy on Saturday.

“We are extremely grateful for these endorsements from Bert and Pat,” said Campaign Manager Maggie Moran. “Mayors know their communities better than anyone and have a deep understanding of the needs of their residents. Tammy will be a fierce advocate for our party and our values and is excited to work with these leaders through the campaign and beyond.”

“Tammy Murphy is a proven leader for the middle-class,” said Bert H. Steinmann, Mayor of Ewing. “I have full faith and confidence that as a U.S. Senator, Tammy Murphy will be a strong advocate for Ewing Township in helping us continue to take on a robust economic development agenda.”

“All the issues that matter to Lawrence residents are the issues that Tammy Murphy champions,” said Patricia Farmer, Mayor of Lawrence. “Whether it’s healthcare access, better maternal health outcomes for Black and brown families, or affordability for our seniors, Tammy is there and on our side.”

Murphy has also received endorsements from over 80 faith and community leaders, six Congressional members, and over 100 elected officials. Additionally, Murphy has received support from multiple unions including the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union New Jersey Locals 464A, 360, 1262, 312, and 152; the International Longshoremen’s Association; the New Jersey Council of Sheet Metal Workers; the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) International and the ATU New Jersey State Joint Council; the New Jersey State Electrical Workers Association Construction Division of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; the Sheet Metal Workers Local 25; the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 21; the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers; the State Troopers Fraternal Association; the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 194; the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association; and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. Tammy is also proud and grateful for her endorsement from EMILYs List.

  1. This is disgusting. Tammy Murphy has not done one thing for the middle class. I should know I’m middle class and struggle every day of My life to keep mine and my families head above water. The Murphys are liberal elites who live in the lap of luxury totally untouched by Phil’s horrible polices that are bleeding the middle class dry. I am sure Murphy is doing everything he can to buy Tammy the seat. I pray the working middle class will stand up and say no thank you, we are done with the Murphys.
