Murphy Spokesman: NJEDA Task Force About Lack of Accountability, Not One Person

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy

Statement from Darryl Isherwood, spokesman for Governor Phil Murphy:

The Task Force on EDA Incentives was formed as the result of a report from the State Comptroller, who was appointed by former Governor Chris Christie, detailing a lack of accountability and oversight in the state’s tax incentive programs. That effort has never been about one person, one company, or one city.  It is about ensuring that the tax incentive programs are operated to the benefit of everyone in New Jersey, not just a select, connected few.   We look forward to vigorously defending the task force, its investigation, and the actions of this administration in court.

  1. CHRISTIE NEEDS TO BE UNDER INVESTIGATION. HE DID A LOT OF WRONG AND ALLOWED NORCROSS TO HARASS, INTIMIDATE AND FIRE PEOPLE. HE ALSO ALLOWED NORCROSS AND HIS CRONIES TO MAKE FALSE ARREST AND USE MEDIA TO DEFAME AND SLANDER THOSE WHO DID NOT PARTAKE IN NORCROSS CORRUPTION AND VOTE FOR HIS INSURANCE IN THEIR TOWNSHIP. CHRISTIE NEEDS TO FACE AN INDICTMENT. HE HAS ABUSED POWER TERRIBLY AND PROTECTED GEORGE FOR DECADES.
