A new ad released today by the Bob Hugin for Senate campaign makes the case for the Republican challenger as an independent leader.

“I’m in this race for one reason: to serve the people of New Jersey,” said Hugin. “For far too long, career politicians in Washington have put self-interest and the interests of their political party ahead of the people they are supposed to be serving. New Jersey deserves better. When I go to Washington, the only people I will answer to are the people of New Jersey. The candidate – a Trump delegate who donated $200,000 to the President’s cause – is fighting late against the Trump tag.
